NSCC NURSES TAKE PART IN THE 10KM BRIDGE RUN

  • Event: Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2017
  • For: Northern Sydney Cancer Centre

In 2017, the Nurses of the Northern Sydney Cancer Centre (NSCC) decided to take part in the 10km Bridge Run as a team building event but also to raise much-needed funds for Northern Sydney Cancer Centre. Their work is really important, and we want to do what we can to help.

Rebecca, one for the NSCC’s Nursing team said, ‘I work as a nurse at this centre and I am passionate about improving care for patients. The money donated will allow us to improve our service.’

Lydia, another member of the NSCC’s team said, ‘The work the centre does is really important, and I want to do what I can to help, but there is only so much I can do on my own.’

The nurses together raised just over $5,000 for the Northern Sydney Cancer Centre.

The Northern Sydney Cancer Centre (NSCC) is a leading provider of advanced cancer treatments and support services for patients, families and carers. The team is made up of highly skilled and dedicated health professionals who individually design and deliver treatment regimens for each patient to ensure the best possible care and support.

The Centre is also actively involved in cancer research and is dedicated to improving outcomes for cancer patients and their families.
