The Royal North Shore Hospital Stroke Unit is dear to the Multiplex team as it saved the life of their Design Manager, Andrew Schupp, after he suffered a stroke on site mid last year.Emergency Services arrived to site quickly as Andrew had only a short timeframe for recovery. Once the stroke was identified, the Stroke Unit then provided the best care possible.
To show their thanks and gratitude, they are fundraising to provide much needed Portable Cardiac Monitors for the stroke unit, which will greatly assist in the care of future stroke patients.
To ensure these units can be provided as quickly as possible they are targeting a closing date of 30th August 2019 for all donations. Donations after this date will also be graciously accepted by the RNSH Stroke Unit.
